My old LP's

I found this at a local record store. It was on my list to replace albums missing over the decades. This is much nicer than the one that went missing.

A 1968 German pressing on Decca. Heavy vinyl. No visible scratches, it looks clean. It'll get played after a trip through the sonic bath.

The Beano album!
My college roommate gifted it to me around 1982. Still a favorite.

I just picked up these five early pre-Buckingham/Nicks Fleetwood Mac CDs for $12.99, sealed in the wrapper. Lots of crossover with the Bluesbreakers.

Here's some pics of a Bluesbreakers show I went to with the previously mentioned roommate. I didn't take these. I pulled them from the web. Cool circular venue with a revolving stage.

Mayall

John McVie

McVie and Taylor had huge fame by this time as members of Fleetwood Mac and the Rolling Stones, but they went on the road to support Mayall, their old friend and mentor.

Eric Clapton was playing in nearby Buffalo within a couple days of this show. We were hoping he'd show up for a set, but it wasn't to be.

A couple more pics.

The whole band with Colin Allen on drums.

Brochure from the show.
Note producers Harvey, Corky and Tice. Harvey is Harvey Weinstein who produced a lot of concerts in NY State before he started raping young actresses.

Picture of the venue shortly before it was demolished. It's too bad, it was a great place to see a show. A full bar in the concourse serving triple sized mixed drinks in Solo cups.
