Really the amazing thing is despite the filth on some of the hippie collection, the old Dual turn table and Discwasher must have treated my records pretty well. Really very - I mean tiny amount of permanent damage. Some of the twinkie goo needs soap and water but does come up.

Once pefect and clean then PE inner and PP jacket sleeve.

I've got a Blu-ray concert of them with some commentary mixed in. It's one of my favorite music disc's.
Oh yeah, I listen to Traffic on vinyl frequently too.

Then a complete let down. Not even sure how where when but my Beatles White Album is completely garbaged. Serious DEEP unplayable scratches. I was always pretty careful, but people borrowed albums over the years. I can play the CD or stream it, but it was purchased in the original year, so mainly bummed about that. Oh well.

Traffic - low spark on now. Not even a pop or hiss. Perfect. AMAZING DR!

Saw Steve Winwood in concert 2017 and 2018 at the Tower Theater outside of Philly. I feel fortunate to have done so.

I have been buying some NEW vinyl from Ebay. 180 gram LPs. All so far are outstanding sound quality. Some folks say the heavier vinyl makes a difference. Seems to, maybe all in my head, but these things sure are not "floppy" the price is more though
The sound is so rich and wide. I even bought a OMR of the Dire Straights, I will compare to the old 1978 vinyl.

Got a new drive belt for the TECHNICS SL-BD20D . The original belt was slipping and the new seems fine . Played BACHAMAN TURNER OVERDRIVE II that was purchased in '75 .

I nevr had one of the heavier vinyls ( be it albums or singles) that warped to the point I could hear it, but nearly all the tine ones have.

I got the OMR of Dire Straights, 180 G, LP, but in two records. It's 45RPM.

My old Dual was belt drive. All the use it had, never damaged my records.

Belt is doing fine . It's a little wider than the original . Last night I listened to this must have L.P. that has great soundstage . 25+ years old .

I'm not completely understanding your record player jargon here, but if you are referring to cleaning records, I've seen videos where someone covers a record in elmers glue. Once it is dry, you can peel off the film which is supposed to remove dust from the record grooves.

Soap and water is exactly that. Ultra pure water preferably

That said I use a couple commercial fluids which do fine

I did figure out most of the junk - the flaky stuff is from degraded inner sleeves. And it does wash off.

Wow this one was filthy- third wash and wipe after preliminary dusting and the stylus still picked up crud.
Finally it sounds like new!
