I was pretty thrilled seeing the silhouette of this in the curb lawn on garbage day a few days ago. Added some gas and oil (sump looked empty) and it starts and runs! I don't have a ton of use for an edger, a few short sidewalks and some landscape timbers but I'm excited to try the trimmer functionality.

missed a push mower a week ago, saw it along the curb with other trash, by the time i got turned around it was gone in just a few minutes. Guess you have to move fast
I definitely drove as fast as I reasonably could back around the block.

McLane is one of the best edgers available. Mine has been flawless for 20 years with only three oil changes and one replaced drive belt.
I had to look the brand up, I'd never heard of it. Figured it was pretty good when new ones are outrageously expensive.

I never seen things like that on the curb. Either nobody has stuff, they keep it in the back yard when it quits working or they throw it out in the desert.

The last thing seems more correct.
I expected this one to have a hole in the crankcase honestly.

Is it a commercial brand?
I think so? As of right now the company only makes edgers, reel mowers and one other thing that I can't remember.

I would love to find something like that. Years ago I did find a curbside John Deere push mower. It worked perfectly. No idea whay it was thrown out.
That's what I'm trying to decipher, seems like it might be seeping some oil on the crank seal but it's solid otherwise.
