My car's compression tested low. Help.

Yes, the compression tester was bad. As I've been told now, if you do a compression test and all cylinder's test exactly the same but low, chances are very good the compression tester is bad. This was the case for me.

Later I borrowed a different compression tester from a parts store and my car tested perfect. 186-188 psi on all cylinders. Which is right where it should be.

The reason I lost power and had the surging issue was b/c the stock tune could not handle both the Cobb SRI and Cobb TIP combo. This threw the calibration of the MAF too far off for the stock tune to deal with. By putting the stock TIP back on, and therefore creating more drag and less flow, the stock tune could handle the SRI. Sure, my LTFT's are still off, but it can deal with it and still create power.

All of this of course is solvable by simply getting an after-market tune. This would then recalibrate my MAF to the new SRI and TIP and create even more power.
