Awesome! Love those old JD's. I picked up an 83 212 4 years ago and restored most of it except the transaxle and steering column. I remember visiting the Deere dealer back in the mid 80's and the 318 was almost 6K with no attachments, the 430 was 11K.
I have the 37A on the 212 and it works fantastic..word of advice, get a rear weight bracket and 6 suitcase weights. That snowthrower is heavy and if you get nose-down in a driveway and need to back out you will need that extra weight.
I'm running 50lb weights on the wheels, tires filled with RimGuard (75lbs), and 6 suitcase weights...wouldn't want any less.
