I really hope they don't look like this...

If one forgets its called a mustang it seems its a pretty nice SUV

It's not exactly competitive from a performance or range level though.

The long range version has a bigger more expensive battery than a model Y and also likely more parts costing more to assemble.

I think it looks far better than a Model 3,
I think if they looked any more alike, you could swap badges. The greenhouse and rear quarter panels are pretty much identical. Tesla got a lower hood line. Naturally the trim and details differ, but if you took the badges off, most of the population won't be able to tell you which is which.

I think it looks far better than a Model 3, and I do see a lot of ev's in person.
Park next to them and look at them what else to do when charging. Since we are all out there with our opinions. Or is it stock trading behind all this? Good sales for the E in Feb.

I have no doubt these early units or many of them have been moved to clients but in the future " sold" will be interesting to track as Ford is able to claim anything they ship to the dealer network as being "sold" before it even arrives on their lot.

How many get sold to end users is different story.

Apparently Ford is having production problems.

Right out of the gate the dealer network started with "added markup" and after a crap-storm of protest the 10K uplift got removed from this particular car, but you can look forward to being gouged if truly interested.

Same here I think the rig looks nice with the exception of the nose piece.

The mustang name is both silly and offensive to brand loyalists.
Yeah, the designers gotta figure out how to do grilles where the is no grille needed.
Do not design any sort of plain grille "vestige"
Just round the nose. Or put a grille and do some under hood air management and evacuation.
The battery pack requires cooling.
Really moronic using the Mustang name here; a really, REALLY bad idea.

And I am NOT a ford guy ( dont look a my signature line :) )

The old gen Hyundai Elantra looked more like an electric car with no grille :

Best way to handle the above is to set your sights on something else more reasonable and vote with your checkbook. It's my hope that dealers that are engaging in this will have high numbers of these things rotting on their lots.
