Mufflers with an internal resonated x-pipe?

Even though I run a seperate x or h pipe on my big blocks to quiet down the raspiness, the internal muffler version does the same thing....as long as the flow remains the same through the muffler.

Thoughts,Opinions,etc,etc?
Like something from Dynomax?

They would be about the same, it just depends on the piping relative to the muffler and the outlet.
Please explain in more detail as to what you mean by what you just said? the dual portion is 2.25 inlet and the single which is the outlet is 2.5"

Larger isn't always better. Most people think it's better. Unless your Titan V8 has a supercharger or turbocharger with it, the amount of exhaust gas flow isn't going to change much out of the engine. Dumping the restrictive factory mufflers will allow the exhaust system to move more gas out of the factory setup.

If you have more exhaust gas coming out due to you boosting your engine, then you can take advantage of the higher flow volume of larger pipes, provided that you can provide smooth bends due to the chassis needs. Maintaining a consistent exhaust pipe diameter is also a consideration for flow (exhaust gas velocity)

Absolutely correct. Ask the engineers who designed the C8 Corvette exhaust.
