Am I the only one that installs mud flaps on sedans? Very very rarely do I see people with aftermarket mud flaps here and I find it so strange. Without them the slush and salt gets thrown right down the side of the car and underneath on that folded metal section that sticks down and well everywhere. Currently trying to get a set on the Taurus but I'm gonna have to talk the wheel off to get them on and considering the "Real Feel" here right now is a -16, that's gonna have to wait a couple days.

I looked at the OE's for the Taurus and they didn't look like they'd do much so I just got them aftermarket. Plus they are cheaper than OE.
Gotta put them on my Taurus, scored the OEM front kit for cheap, and they fit like they should.

$165 seems high to me for aftermarket.
Get them from Weather Tech,made in the good old USA. Do not require any tools or tire removel. Go to weather tech.com. The have a plant in bolling green il.

They make mud flaps? I bought a set of their mats for the Camry for Christmas. Very impressed by the entire process. Good quality. I'm interested in flaps to preserve the body. Thank you sir.

Yes, they are the 'real deal', and made to stand up to vicious rooster tails of; rocks, gravel, mud, ice, sand, salt, etc.

First of all watch for a retailer to have a sale on the RA. I paid closer to $100. They look fine on my WRX, not out of place at all.
They were a bit of a bear to install mid winter last year, but will worth it so far. Without them the amount of junk HEARD hitting the paint was just scary. Now nothing.

I bought the Weathertech flaps for my 05 Chevy truck. Easy to install and very heavy duty. They look OEM and do a good job of keeping the crud away from the lower fenders, both inside and out. I got a set of Weathertech window visors for Christmas and recommend them also, though the visors were made in Germany. Fit and finish are very good for both the flaps and visors. I don't know if they make the flaps for your sedan but they're website has a nice application feature which is easy to navigate.
Have had OEM ones on my last six cars.
I bought some Ford ones for the Focus, it needed them. Some cars don't need them so much as they protect the very front of the rockers atleast.
Older Camrys come with them.
I usually install splash guards to protect the lower body from sandblast. Still needed 3M film on the kick-out in front of the rear wheels on my wife's Sky. The last ones I installed were OEM on my GTI. Now my Tacoma, it has MUDFLAPS from the factory. At first I was put off by how big they are, but they sure protect well.
