I have a 1975-1976 snapper riding mower. The mower shop sells 00 Snapper grease to go in rear end-diff. Does anyone know of a same or better brand grease to sub for this ? GREAT SITE !!

The differential lube is a special grease made by Shell. Maybe Johhny can shed some light on this grease. I think it's about an ISO 150/220 in terms of viscosity.
No help here, just want to say I am glad to hear from another non participant in our throw away society. I hope somebody can help. Fortunately GE specified plain 90 weigh gear oil in 1973 on my Electrack.
