I've taken another sample as I've learnt that the previous company used didn't use best of breed for fuel dilution analysis. Happy to hear thoughts.

That appears to be a thorough test from ALS. I've seen their tests before but I don't think I've seen all those results from one test. Did you just use their basic test offering or?

Standard oil test. Lab was ALS here in Sydney Oz

I'll have to look into it some more but it does look like you get more on the standard test than we get here in the U.S.A. ALS must feel like that is necessary it seems. Does Australia do longer drain intervals?

I bought my sample kit from https://www.autosphere.com.au/product/oil-analysis-test-kit/ Perhaps there's different options from ALS but this company picks the one that gives me more info?

I'd say you're right & that company is just selling the more premium kit that includes more tests. You're getting good results from what they offer. Thanks for the additional info.

Sodium and potassium were not detected, so I think the glycol finding could be measurement error. I don’t know if your coolant has sodium or potassium, but most coolants do. Your next UOA should give you a better idea of whether coolant is getting in your oil.

With a TBN of 8.5 remaining, it looks like that oil should last the full 16k km OCI.
