So I usually change my oil myself, but I dont have a garage and it's supposed to be -20 or colder for the next week and I really don't feel like laying under the truck in the snow and cold. I got a $25 off coupon for a quick lube place, they use motosel oil. Any reason not to take advantage of it? I usually just run Super tech 5w30. It's winter so I won't be doing any towing or anything.

The Motosel website says they meet or exceed API SP and car manufacturers ILSAC GF-6 service classification and have Dexos license on some. It should be fine for one OCI and then change back to whatever you prefer next time.

I'd skip the oils with "Nonotec" in them though.
Stay warm.

I looked up Motosel ,never heard of them, looks like real decent oil, very useable product line, heck why not use that instead of Walmart SuperTech.

If someone wishes to do so both the API and the dexos licenses can be verified on the respective websites.
