I have a torin mc jack. After 5 + years it started to drift down under load. So I got the manual and figured it needed bled. So I decided to change the oil since I was working on it. I drained all the jack oil, as instructed. Then I refilled the jack on its side.... a no no i found out. And of course I read the filling instructions after I filled it. And I OVERFILLED it and it is locked up won't go down at all.
Did I ruin it, where do you take a jack to be fixed? Can I fix it?

Try and drain the oil out and start over again? Perhaps contact the manufacturer for instructions to recover.

That's a start. I drain and fill again. I have an email into the manufacturer.

Funny story, read all the way through...

Okay, so I did all the drainng, filling, pumping, burping multiple times. No good.
Funny story!
I junked it and bought a new Torin MC jack at pep boys. The price was $ 134.95. I dragged it up to the register, I just had shoulder surgery. I say to the old guy, who I've seen for probably 30 yrs. I said " I thought you told me you were leaving retail, he said this is my last day, I'm retiring". He rings me up and he says that'll be $74.50, what! i say. He says again 74.50?.

This was his retirement present to me i guess.
