Motorcraft or Havoline??

2004 Mazda MPV with Ford Duratech V6. 31,000 miles. I've run Motorcraft 5w20 since new. Should I switch to Havoline 5w20? Looks like it's got more moly.

Too many factors and not enough info. Most will say that you'll do fine with either and to buy based on price.

I vote for Motorcraft. Great oil that is a blend at the price of conventional.

used oil analysis from both are great. From what I've read, 5w-20 SM GF-4 oils are all a "blend". Some have stated that MC uses teh "Blend" labeling as a marketing tool. YMMV

Motorcraft has boron additives, Havoline not. Seems a lil more high tech. Is there Sb in there too?

I will say that so far this is the cleanest engine I've ever had. With the oil cap off you can see quite a bit of the timing chain. It's nice and shiny and there's no varnish anywhere. I guess I'll just stick with motorcraft.

What do you mean no Boran in Havoline? I just looked at the VOA section of Chevron and Havoline SM rated 5w20 and both have Boron in them.. Can you please clarify?
