Just dropped off the Escape to have a leaky trans cooler hose replaced. At the service desk, they were advertizing Semi and Full synthetic oil changes with pictures of Semi-synthetic Motorcraft and Full synthetic motorcraft oils. $49.95 for the full synthetic oil change. Graphics and pictures of "molecules" large and small providing increased protection as you move up to full synthetic.

Has anyone bought, seen or used Full Synthetic Motorcraft oils? I assume it's Conoco manufactured. If so what would be it's full synthetic counterpart?

Kendall GT1...
but i'd run the Motorcraft synthetic blend you can buy at Walmart....for $2.05/qt...and while you're at it, you can get teh MC filter there.

anyone have a picture of what the bottle looks like?

I've never seen it before.

What would this be called under the conoco name?

I know that the semi syn is called hydroclear.

Well I guess that I learned something today. I only thought that MC came in a semi blend. Not a fake GP III
(synthetic).

A day should not pass that someone does not learn something.

My Wally has no MC oil at all, and its a Super Walmart even. Funny what and where they chose to stock.....

Walmart, at least in my area, is kind of fickle about the
oil they stock.

The Super Walmart stocks about a quarter of the oil that
the other two smaller stores stock? Unfortunately it's
easy to find the oil filter section. It's 99% orange.

Find out the day they stock their shelves. I suspected mine didn't carry it either - until I found out that backstock on the MC oils is very limited & store shelves containing it are running dry in 1-2 days. Why "Chinamart" doesn't want to expand their shelf space is beyond me.
