Motorcraft FL-910S/~7000mi cut open

After changing the oil (and subsequent dealer trip) I tonight cut open the FL-910S that came off my focus after about 7000 miles, to see what it looks like. I was concerned about possible tearing, but those fears were for naught. It looks absolutely perfect. Metal shavings are from the dremel I used to cut it open. I've been using that filter for several years now. Appears to work very well. By the way, I run mine the full 10K.

Looks good to me, and it has the infamous metal crimp too.
