Motorcraft FL-2114-B12 Cut Open

I have for your amusement a Motorcraft FL-2114-B12 oil filter dissection. This is off of my wife;s 2022 Ford Bronco Sport with the 1.5L 3cy Ecoboost engine. Filter was in service for 3,000 miles using Amazon Basic Synthetic Blend 5W-30. Was replaced with a Hastings LF563 oil filter and Valvoline High Mileage Synthetic Blend 10W-30.

Filter did it's job with no tears and still well bonded fiber end caps. Nitrile ADBV was still nice and pliable and still retained plenty of oil when cut open.

Better looking than the Motorcraft M+H version that sheds sloppy glue on the end caps.

Looks okay to me. MC using a Champ/Fram made filter for this application. Those Bronco's are really selling well.
