Motor1 : Nissan Sold Just Five 370Zs And 49 GT-Rs In Q2 2021

BMW M240.
Significantly more expsinve.
Just looked it up 3 year used M240 cost more than the entry level 370Z trims new. Again lets compare apples to apples. The 370Z is really in a class all its own.
Beats anything easily, thats more affordable, and on a road course against much more expensive iron its a drivers race.

Back in the day in the previous model the 350Z (which I admit I had supercharged and ran the 11 psi pulley on a ATI Procharger setup) I played around with a 911.
Not saying I destroyed him, (there was no room for us to get real serious) but it was clearly a drivers race at that point.
But my Z33 even with the mods (BBK, SC, Eibachs) was less than half the cost of that 911.

And the Z34 is an even hotter ship straight out of the box.
Very nearly bought one years ago but then I had to go overseas so...

The only other car true competitor is the WRX STI and that is a Sedan with AWD so technically a different category.
Still Id also be just as happy to own a WRX STI as a 370Z.
Used to race quite a few STIs back in the day with my SCed 350Z.

Based on the above I guess it was only a matter of time until the low-brow posturing discourse of other forums would make it's way here.
Do you have any "lols" any other ad hominems while you're at it?
We would never get posts like this when I joined nearly 20 years ago.

The 370Z overheated and smoked it's brakes in one lap from the factory.
