Most hated feature, new or old

I dislike: automatic headlamps, I know to turn my headlamps on when it is raining or dark outside.
Automatic moisture control: I know when to turn my wipers on.

This "do it for me 'cause I'm not able to, not capable" attitude has really gotten out of control. First the car companies now the government.

Other options I dislike:
Sunroofs or t-tops. You're just asking for a water leak and a musty smelling car.
Power windows. I am fully capable of raising and lowering my windows by hand. Can't buy a GM car with manual crank windows anymore, only trucks.

I don't like sunroofs because I never use them and they add weight in the worst possible spot.

I use:

And I don't have that problem because those wipers are designed to create downforce.

The only thing that bugs me amongst all my cars are the fresh air HVAC controls. The Festiva has a setting to turn on/off the outside without running the fan. The Focus is on all the time unless you turn on the fan then you can turn it to recirc. The Escape has nothing unless you turn it to max ac and nothing out of the vents unless the fan is on. I love my fresh air unless it's below 30!!

Another thread bemoaning the weight of a Honda Accord (and the "bloated" weight of the drivers and passengers) has a 2010 Accord weighing more than my late '80's-early '90's W126 S-Class vehicles!

Agree. Which leads to my gripe, that nearly every "new" car these days just looks huge next to my 12 year old Civic. If I pull up next to a 2012 Accord, the beltline on that car looks like what an SUV used to be. Everything is big and taller with 20" rims. Only a few brands have resisted. Audi is one.

Which is another gripe altogether. I don't need 20" rims on my family hauler SUV. I'd much rather not spend $300 per tire when the time comes to replace the all-season tires on there. $300 tires should only be found on sports cars.

You're in luck! You can skitter down to your local Chevrolet dealer and pick up a Sonic LS... with crank windows.
