I think we've covered this subject, several times, previously. The coolant temp, pumped thru the radiator for cooling, will reach a stable operating temperature somewhere around 212F & remain there.quote:

The oil in the sump, circulated thru the heat zones of the engine, sees continually higher temps when the outside ambient temps are over 100 degrees F.
Unless an oil cooler is utilized, the heat energy in the oil must be absorbed by the cross sections of the oil galleys & sump. And this is cooled only by ambient air flow.
Higher ambient temps yield less cooling.
