I connected my Lenovo 22" thin screen monitor to a new laptop. I get a bad or two of flicker at a rate of about 2 or 3 per second. Screen is very readable but is sure to give one a headache. The band is about 1" wide and goes all the way across the screen. The band moves each time it does the flicker.
I have tried various screen resolution and also 60 Hz and 75 Hz. Does not change things. The input is via VGA. The monitor has a digital input but I need a converter as my laptop only has HDMI output (and VGA).
The monitor did work fine with another laptop that I no longer have.
The screen on the laptop works fine also.
