A man is driving through the countryside when his car breaks down near a Monastery. The Monks kindly let him stay the night.
That evening, he hears the most beautiful sound coming from somewhere inside the Monastery. Harps? Choirs? Angelic music.
The next morning he asks, “What was that incredible sound?”
The head Monk says, “We can’t tell you. You’re not a Monk.”
The man shrugs and leaves.
Years pass. He can’t stop thinking about that sound. He returns and begs to know.
The Monk says, “To find out, you must become a Monk.”
So the man devotes his life, studies, serves, takes vows. Decades later, he is finally admitted as a Monk.
He asks again, “Please. The sound.”
The Monk hands him a key. “It’s behind this door.”
He opens the door — another door. Another key. Another door. Stone door. Wooden door. Golden door.
Finally, he opens the last door… and sees the source of the most breathtaking, indescribable sound in existence.
But I can’t tell you what it was.

You’re not a Monk.

Sorta reminded me of the opening of "Get Smart".

And the joke.......well, it reminded me of John Wayne on "Rowan and Martin's Laugh In".

Duke: (in characteristic accent) An old timer told me to shoot first and ask questions later.
I wanted to ask him why, but I had to shoot him first.
