Moms Car needs Tires..

Cooper/Walmart a lot easier to deal with defective tires then a brand like you state.

Cooper is a good choice. I agree with the Michelin comment as well. They are a nice tire but if you don't put the miles on them there is no point they will dry rot.

Every "Mom's car" needs to be highway worthy. That can mean 85mph in the hot Sun. No?

However, a consumer magazine test shows them to be poor in wet stopping and turning. And test from a large tire retailer reported them as another significant jump backward in ability with minimal grip to work with... I think I'll pass.
