Is this really true? I always thought it was the sulphur that is corrosive to yellow metals, such as in Sulphur-Phosphorus EP additives and MoS2. MoS2 is a sulphur containing compound consisting of moly and sulphur, perhaps this one varient of moly has given the entire element a bad name?
