a few questions around Moly diSulfide (MoS2).

1. is it possible to add pure MoS2 powder directly to a oil fill to get the benefits of MoS2?
2. Rose Mill sells Bemol brand of MoS2 powder in three powder grades; 1.5um, 10-30um, and 6um. i am assuming 1.5um would be best choice so the particles dont get caught in oil filter? although there is some info/verbiage on their site about using the 10-30um so the particles can fill voids faster, etc.
3. what's a common mix ratio (weight of MoS2 to 1 US qt oil) to be affective?
4. if using a MoS2 additive such as pure powder, its my understanding that it needs to be in the oil all the time to be effective, so it should be used in every fill. is this true? can it be used every other fill, etc?
5. considering todays quality synthetic oil offerings, is the use of MoS2 beneficial or a waste of $$?

Wast of money, and it will probably settle out of the oil anyway.

i'm not 100% convinced that its a waste of money. Honda uses a oil "pak" for initial oil fill in all Acura vehicles. from my research on this oil "pak" it is nothing more than a dose of MoS2.

Yes but will settle out over a few days unless you add a dispersant like fused silica.

2-3% bye wt

Will burnish in somewhat so not needed all the time

Powder a waste of time and money a Moly dithio would be better or also a boron ester would be more "main stream"
