I'm considering buying Mobil Delvac 1 Transmission Fluid 40 to send off for a VOA. After the analysis I'm thinking about using it in my 97 Jeep's AX15. I have confirmed it's yellow metal safe and the kinematic viscosity is 14.8 cSt@100C. It's also "recommended by ExxonMobil for use in transmissions and gear cases where API Service GL-1 through GL-4". Is there any reason not to use this in an AX15 calling for a 75w90 GL-4 fluid?

I wouldn't bother with a VOA. Use it and report back.
