Mobil Clean 7500, worth it?

7500 is a better value than 5000 if you care about your car. Considering the price of gas and the rising prices of motor oil, 2.18/qt is not an expensive oil change.

So there is a comparison of M 7500 and Havoline/Chevron. Clearly the differences relate to Mobils use of Antimony(shows up as NA) while Chevron uses more Moly and no Antimony. Plus we have heard that M 7500 is mostly group III oil. M 7500 looks good to me.

Why does Antimony show up as sodium (NA)? Antimony is an element and has a symbol of SB. It is not near NA on the periodic table.

From what I recall, the compound that is added to the oil contains NA and SB. Thus, NA is an indicator that SB is in the oil. I believe that Butler labs now tests for SB(antimony) separately.
