No problems showed up in this sample of virgin 0w30. The viscosity was at the low end of the
30W range and right where we expected to see it. The 1 ppm iron isn't a problem and is actually a
common find in virgin oil (see universal averages). Boron, calcium, and magnesium are
detergent/dispersant additives, while molybdenum, phosphorus, and zinc are anti-wear additives. No
moisture or insolubles were found. The TBN read at 12.4, which is a strong reading and shows there is a
lot of active additive present. This is serviceable oil and should do well in your engine(s).
