Here's the new Mobil 1 FS X2 5W40 Euro. Also added the Mobil 1 FS 0W40 to the table to compare. Nearly identical sans TBN. This is going in my Golf next in a few mos. when I get about 5K on this Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5W40 Euro.

12.97? That's pretty thin for 40.
An HT/HS of 3.6 though which is more meaningful.
The story here is that what I have doesn't (on the packaging) but what you would get today will - formulation is the same just didn't have the approval..now it does so yes.
Mobil 1 website still only lists 299.3
But the bottles now show 229.5 I thought? I think all of this is much to do about nothing anyway and is just related to packaging. Why would their Euro oil not have 229.5? They all do it seems.

I thought the other thread on this in the Euro section showed new packaging referencing 229.5? Now instead of FSx2 they call it FS.
It's simple (to me). The oil in both bottles is exactly the same.
