The Factory Engine oil is 0W20.

Why should you waste resources when long intervals are not harmful? For 1000 kilometres, I even had lower wear values after 20k km than after 10k kilometres.

Can you remember the manufacturing date on the M1 0w-40 jug? Pic would be nice

I can set a picture of the oil bottle later. I mean this is from 2023. The oil from 2022 did not yet have an API SP certification with us.

yes thank you, thats correct. Label still old?, but the oil is different vs the others if you look at Ca and Mg. That's why i ask for the manufacturing date

I know why you're asking. The label on the oil still shows the API SN, but the content should be API SP. I can at least see this from the analysis. My previous oil change was still with the old formulation, so my current analysis is a mixture of both formulations.

OK, looks like M1 0w-40 is already API SP here in Europe with old label on it.
