It appears whatever rift between Exxon-Mobil and BMW is over, the online PDS for the new SP version of Full SAPS 5W40 now has LL-01

She's back! I used this oil in my 335d when I could sneak in intermediate oil changes.
As well as the new Mobil 1 FS 5w30.
Are they selling that in the US now?
I have seen it recently at Advance Auto Parts.

The US site has pulled down the approvals/specifications. Changes are a comin'.
The general website hasn't been updated you have to find the xom pds search and find it there.

Yes, you can find it in Finland. We have ExxonMobil in Finland. Mobil have been also standard many years. We also get M1 products that are also few to 1 months from the production date. VS other that can be from 0.5-3 years from the production date. ExxonMobil Finland also blend oils for Neste and our military

yep which is why there isn't one for the US for this formula.
i had an answer from mobil Europe and they say that it will be out in the market in a couple of months - midsummer.

today mobil europe send me an email : mobil 5-30 is officialy all over europe
It seems the new formulation of Mobil 1 ESP 5w30 (API SP, LL-04) has no molybden and half of the boron it had before. Also, the base oil has changed (looks cheapened).
