Not much to report, obviously it sat a lot.

Might as well double up the oil change interval at this rate (double your miles). You're using a decent oil. Some minor carryover but I think there's more going on.

Was this oil in the sump the entire time between the previous 2023 UOA?

Yes

Yeah that shouldn't be happening. Vulcans are hard to kill, and that's a good oil.

Something mechanical affecting oil pressure at the bearings, as Blackstone suggests.

The Synchronizer mentioned in that thread is good, it's on its 3rd or 4th one... no noise.

With that going on I think I'd use 15w-50 in it just to help it a little.

I went the other way, i will have to go back and look at the prior boas but im pretty sure the increase in wear metals coincided with going to 0/40.

5000 has kind been the sweet spot, (there are years and years of UOAs on this thing here) probably let it go 2 years or 5000 next time.

It is not the first time lead has been up, I guess i'm not super worried about it, if it blows up i'll put a 5.0 in it. I expect the 7.5 will blow up first it is howling like a banshee... guess it drug one too many 16 foot box trailer....

Well, at least lead is going down? LOL! Could be a particle streak. The different additive levels between OIA/Polaris and Blackstone have me LOL'ing.

Do you have a picture of the front/back of the bottle, with the date/bottle codes?

I feel a lot better with the stash of 0w40 FS I bought yesterday with that low calcium reported in your UOA.

I thought i might, but cant find it. Not the the date it went in so its no newer than october ish 2023, i probably bought it ahead of time too.
