The car has had 2 oil changes since new. Perhaps the moly is leftover from the origional oil??
 
I guess that's a possibility, although the copper and iron are higher it made me wonder. (I know that they are not close to abnormal but still show higher than some others imo.)

Since the lead appears to be normal, Does the base virgin oil have a high level of silicon as an additive or do you know what is the contributing factor for that # if I may ask.
 
Trisyn. Bob, I really don't know about the silicon. I doubt it is an additive-I will call Mobil. The oil analysis said non abrasive-I just assumed it was the gasket material or excess RTV (silicon) used in manufacture. The copper has me more concerned. But than again its not my car
