I have a 97 Ford Explorer that has has some really weird bucking hesitation issues for the past 3 months.
When in over drive with the converter locked it would buck and hesitate and not rev once i gave it just a little gas, cruising it was fine and at WOT it was fine idle was good as well. Fuel pressure was good and engine was tuned up new plugs wires filters Etc.
1/4 of a tank of gas with 8oz of MMO and the problem completely went away!!!!!
Leads me to believe that my injectors are going bad but it really worked and it worked within a day.
I have used it in my oil before but to me the change was dramatic my truck was really running like [censored] and it worked.
Thanks to this forum for the recommendation I am truly amazed.

Well I hope you were being honest with that answer. That should go without saying.

2nd set brand new motorcraft wires and motorcraft IR plugs, new coil and TPS IAC were fine new MAF 9 moths ago dealer part not AZ fuel filter and PCV changed with in last 6 months fuel pressure was normal from idle to WOT and EGR checked out for vac and was working correctly.

I went through everything no CEL light no codes it was a total freakin mystery.

I used to say the same thing but I had half a bottle in my garage so I gave it a shot, the day before it ran terrible so I put in half the bottle before my drive to work. after on my way home from work it was already getting better the next day on the way to work the issue was gone.
I never believed the posts I used to read about it either but it has worked for me better than what I expected but I guess you really wont know for sure until you have a problem and it works for you.

MMO is a great product. I occasionally use it in my oil and gas, but its greatest benefit to me is freeing stuck engines. I have used it numerous times to free stuck pistons on an antique tractor or antique engine that has been sitting for years. It works much faster than diesel fuel IMO. I've also used it to free stuck exhaust valves on small engines.

Correlation (this and that happened in sequence) is not always causality (this made that happen).

Glad your car is running better, but you should still check out your plugs/wires and other potential causes...

I started using MMO in the gasoline in the mid 1980s. Too have used it in the oil many years ago.

I use between 3 or 4 oz of MMO per 10 gallons of gas and always add it before pumping.

Last several new vehicles I bought started using MMO from the first tank on.

I thought I would update I have run 1 complete bottle (4 tanks of fuel) and the problem has not returned!
Bad plug, bad wire set, would have resurfaced by now, I believe the problem to be injectors and I will have to replace them soon but for now the MMO has worked and I dont care if anyone else says otherwise for around $5.89 it cured my problem completely.

Mmo in the oil will slowly dissolve deposits if you have any. It affects the tbn though so it's not a good idea to run it for a 5000 mile interval. Used as directed it's a decent product and does what it says it's gonna do.
Some like it,some call it snake oil. Personally I wish I could find it here.

I get the same fuel economy with MMO, but the car idles smoother and runs nicer at all RPMs - I really love it in the winter because it seems to silence my fuel pump whine.

Do you add it to fuel or oil? I plan to add it in oil and some other fuel system cleaners in gas tank meanwhile. Hope I have good result thru

I get mpg gains with MMO in my Jeep, but the results are not typical. Our other 3 cars could care less mpg wise. I believe the venerable 4.0 Jeep glorified tractor engine responds well to the UCL it provides.
