I bought some Redline Heavyweight Shockproof gear oil and it is too heavy for where I live. Currently have the Redline Lightweight Shockproof in the transmission now. It is still a bit too thick. Any thoughts on mixing the heavyweight and super lightweight together?

Call their tech line. Very knowledgeable -- can definitely help you figure out if and how much to mix.

Why'd you get heavy if it's too heavy for you?

I mixed lightweight and superlight shockproof, 1:1 two quarts total. Put that in a month ago, working really well. Lightweight is teal colored, superlight is yellow. Made a fun swirly tie dye going in.

It's in a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 6 speed manual. They have issues with them.

Ha The heavy stuff is red IIRC.
