A friend has a MM gate opener on his double gates. All worked well for 9 months, then one gate (the secondary) would not close.
We contacted MM and they had us do some checks from the main control panel, and said it must be the revolution counter circuit board in the ram.
A new ram circuit board was ordered an fitted, and the gate worked ONCE!
MM tech support say "send the whole ram back to us"
We hate to do this as it means pulling the ram power cable under the driveway (and eventually putting it back again) we also would have to ship it from Canada to Texas (time and cost)
I feel we either bought a bum circuit board as a replacment or something is frying the circuit boards (no obvious sign)
Any help or suggestions please.
