in/on: 8 quarts HPL PCEO 5w-30 with Carquest Premium 84502

from our office in port arthur tx. i wrote the fleet manager in that office up today for not following orders. trucks come to me to be serviced. the truck had just finished it 6k interval on HPL EC30 before he took it to a quick lube. filter is okay. ADBV stiff and let oil pour back through the holes. element build seems to be like a purolator but i’m not sure based on the base plate. whoever makes it, it was a pretty solid filter minus the ADBV.

The flat spiral bypass valve is a Purolator design, so could be made under the Purolator/M+H umbrella. What country was it made it ... anything on the can label? Any kind of date code on the dome?

Looks ok to me, more so for a jobber tier filter. Excepting the baseplate design, 'looks' to be an M&H Puro made filter. Wonder if the written up fleet manager has significant influence in the chain of command.
