Off a friends 2015 Chevy Tahoe with 8,000 miles that had whatever the quick lube used. Not too bad looking. Put a WIX and some QSED 5w30 in and on. Made December 1, 2015 and line "C" and 1st shift.

Yeah, I think so. Told him to go the 6,500 miles that's in owners manual. We will see
A Tahoe is not a cheap truck, why use a cheap filter?
Are the louvers nearly closed or is that an optical illusion? I also am mystified how anyone can buy a 2015 Tahoe and immediately go beater car cheap on oil and filter changea. It may be out of warranty now who knows. Amazing to me, I could never justify that kind of expensive car, but I can justify the oil filter for the price of a few gallons of gas, a cup or two of Starbucks, one subway sandwich, etc etc.
Good times: he is out of warranty and the LOUVERS were open I noted. Just glare and me not being a "pro" with a phone camera so I apologize. He has like 67,xxx already on it.
