Just bought a 2006 Mazda Miata Grand Touring.
It takes 5w20 oil. Dealership just changed it yesterday. I have no clue what they used or what filter they used.
Its getting cold and I really don't feel like crawling under it.
I'd like to use PP or M1 in it after this change expires.
The car only has 23K miles on it.
Anyone here have a particular flavor that they like in their Miatas?

I assume you do not flog it at the track on occasion... If you just DD it I would stick with the 5w20.

As for the flavor, use what ever Xw20 synthetic you can find that is cheapest.

I'd recommend the Idemitsu made Mazda 0W-20 which is a very robust oil and with it's 200 VI an excellent choice for cold winter starting. That or the Toyota 0W-20 which is even lighter on start-up is also an excellent choice.
