"Methylene Blue" ???

None of the things the OP is inquiring about taking it for have been verified. Perhaps the last sentence of the referenced article makes the point:

"It’s critical to keep in mind that just because a particular drug or supplement works in a highly specific clinical setting (like breast cancer detection), that doesn't necessarily mean that it can or should be used by the general population."

The MN Science Museum has a great exhibit from older times on things like this. https://new.smm.org/exhibits-experiences/weighing-the-evidence

Of course, that assumes that one trusts science and not the words of only their particular echo chamber of choice...

I spoke with a cardiologist that confirmed the same thing. His opinion was that the vaccine was rolled out too early without enough testing.
1.) That goes against current Mayo Clinic opinion: "The vaccines that help protect against COVID-19 are safe and effective."
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/in-depth/coronavirus-vaccine/art-20484859

2.) Mayo Clinic: "Diseases caused or made worse by long COVID include migraine, lung disease, autoimmune disease and chronic kidney disease. Diseases that people may be diagnosed with due to long COVID include: Heart disease. Mood disorders. Anxiety. Stroke or blood clots. Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, also called POTS. Myalgic encephalomyelitis-chronic fatigue syndrome, also called ME-CFS. Mast cell activation syndrome. Fibromyalgia. Diabetes. Hyperlipidemia."
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases...th/coronavirus-long-term-effects/art-20490351

3.) Recent Yale peer reviewed research: "The study also revealed that COVID-19 vaccinations played a key role in the drop in Long COVID cases."
https://www.yalemedicine.org/news/covid-vaccines-reduce-long-covid-risk-new-study-shows

See what I did with just a few moments of internet research gentlemen? 1.) Vaccine = good. 2.) Long Covid = Bad, 3.) Vaccine reduces #2. Am I to be influenced by single data point anecdotes at BITOG or published peer reviewed work from Mayo Clinic, Yale, etc..??? My stance is not pro/con vaxes...... it's that any stance can be easily supported with internet collected opinion.

It's my opinion that the moderators should shut this nonsense down. Mine, yours, everyone's. It's a personal decision to study everything available and apply one's best critical thinking to come to a personal choice.

Flame suit on.

I'm just looking for someone who has some actual experience with it, good or bad.
I have great experience with peanuts and nuts of all kinds. Other people can die from them.
Just don't. Please don't. Eat healthy, get a lot of sleep, if you wake up tired - check yourself for sleep apnea.
If you want to pop something - Oreganol capsules once a day in winter, if you feel under the weather - fresh ginger juice. If you can't stand it - mix generously with honey. I'd say of all magic equivalents of a doctor in a bottle, ginger is the one thing that would cut the time of your cold in half. If you can't deal with squeezing ginger roots to juice - Trader Joe's sells frozen ginger cubes that you can drop in liquids like sugarcubes.

Peer reviewed is great, but there are edge cases too. This Dr. any many other I personally know, including that work at teaching/university hospitals, had concerns about it. I'm sure it helped for the vast majority, and yes, a vocal minority doesn't understand science and perpetuates some myths and lies. But, a front line cardiologist gave me his opinion, and I'd say it's authoritative.

I'm not anti-vax, and think the current stuff going on, with RFK and research funding isn't great. I like the removal of artificial food colors and closely scrutinizing GRAS ingredients though. Medical research funding to institutions with 100's of billions in investments should require more scrutiny, especially if they want to keep the patent and profits... What will happen in places like FL who want to make vaccines optional, is doctors will not accept anti-vaxx patients. Get the basic life saving shots, build herd immunity, or good luck finding treatment. Health insurance will even get involved.

edit: There's also something to say about these paper mills and journals. There is definitely bias in the journals, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them wouldn't want to publish anything bad about the vaccine because of repercussions from pharma and maybe others...

Have tried USP grade Methylene Blue many times. Definitely clears the mind and keeps you better focused. Didn't have any negative side affects. It really works for me...I can feel the difference.

It apparently is an electron donor for your mitochondria.

Don't use daily though...so cannot speak to daily use. I don't do caffeine, etc...so it has become my go to if I need a mental boost.

No "condition" so to speak. I've just read a lot of positives about it, and not many negatives. Increased alertness, better attitude, more positive approach to tasks with less procrastination. etc. etc

I would recommend 2 weeks vacation on a beach resort. But if you are not able to do it at the moment, this is a very good supplement for productivity and multitasking. It was prescribed by my doctor. He told me to don't take it after 12:00pm because there is certain amount of caffeine in it.

However, you cannot get better advise than this one:
Eating healthy and regular exercise will do the same and you don't have to experiment with chemicals.

I got Covid before there were vaccines and my BP went from 70/90 before to 100/140 in a matter of months post COVID
Heart rate is a steady 100 post Covid and doesn’t appear to be affected by diet or exercise .

I have many strange and unfortunate changes after what was a very minor case of Covid, indicating I have permanent changes that likely are long COVID,
These changes were due to getting Covid and shots had no part of it.

I am exposed to it regularly in clinical laboratory diagnostics and my surgical colleagues also use it to mark sentinel lymph nodes.
But I would NOT recommend it as a therapy unless there is a clear medical indication.

I saw a paper that looked into adverse reactions and found a strong correlation with folks that got vaccinated after getting Covid-19 having issues vs. getting vaccinated before having Covid-19. So many issues and circumstances surrounding all of this.

Unless you did not get the vaccines, YOU and any provider in the world can NOT say this for certain.
But we all have our opinions.
I would go on to say we are free to make our own decisions, but....

Well, I guess we were free to make our own decisions and lose our jobs.
