Does anyone here have any experience with using this stuff? Or know anyone who does? A lot of prominent people are raving about it. But I don't know anyone who has any experience with it. What brand? How much? How often? What kind of results are you experiencing? Etc., Etc.

Safety and Side Effects

Methylene blue is generally safe when administered under medical supervision. Common side effects include:

  • Blue-green urine and feces
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Skin discoloration
It is important to consult a healthcare professional before using methylene blue, especially for off-label purposes, due to potential interactions and contraindications.

Yeah, I've read all of that. But in all fairness they say much the same about every drug advertised on the market.....

"Side effects could include nausea, vomiting, running naked down the street, yelling at your wife, and hitting your kids with a hammer. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop use immediately, and seek the help of a medical professional".

I'm just looking for someone who has some actual experience with it, good or bad.

What is the condition you’re trying to correct?
No "condition" so to speak. I've just read a lot of positives about it, and not many negatives. Increased alertness, better attitude, more positive approach to tasks with less procrastination. etc. etc.

It could all be a bunch of B.S. But the stuff is very popular, and there is usually a reason for that. Much like CBD oil. Many swear by it.

I’ve used it probably hundreds of times in the lab as a common indicator. I’d never ingest it unless it was for a specific condition and especially not via some unregulated supplement.

Give it a go if you wish, would be interesting to hear your experiences. I haven't used in myself but have thought about giving it a try (low dose). I agree diet and exercise are the key for a solid foundation. Supplements do have their place though.

MB can be beneficial but a few things to note:

- Use only 1% USP Pharmaceutical grade.
- Start low, even 1-3mg. So many people these days think if a little is good, a lot is great. Not so with this stuff.
- If taking SSRI's, may not want to take it, as it may cause Seritonin syndrome.
- If taking in drop form; mix with water and wash down quickly as it can stain teeth/tongue/gums.

I think I'd run the idea by my GP first. Are these 'prominent people' board certified and currently practicing doctors? If not, I'd leery of taking their advice.

Not natural. Your body does not require it.

"...............cause side effects like headache, nausea, and interactions with certain medications, so it should be used under medical supervision."

Popularity doesn't mean anything. Asbestos was a popular choice for insulation for decades.

Give it a pass. It gives me anti-vaxxer vibes as it is popular among that illogical community.

If you want to take any kind of magic drop, iodine might be an answer. Supposedly we are all deficient in it, it has something to do with bromate(?) in bread and our processed food diets.

I think J.Crows lugol iodine is the one to get, and only from the manufacturer as there are many knock-offs on Amazon.
