Here i am asking for advice again.

My problem is that whenever i start the car in the morning, there's this loud rattle coming from the engine, it sounds like it's coming from the top or front of the engine. I have a bit a noise from an idler pulley as well but i guess that's not related.

Mileage is 146k km, the engine was well taken care of, frequent oil changes and it looks like a brand new engine under the valve cover.
Here's a clip i made of the rattle. My guess is either the ratcheting part of the chain tensioner not working as it should which could make the chain rattle against the plastic guide at the top, hydraulic lifters or something to do with the intake cam adjuster.

Tell me what you think!

How’s the timing chain tensioner?

Sounds like the neighbors old Honda.

The noise has gone away with the warmer weather! It still does it from time to time early in the morning but not as loud.
