Menards 11% is back...

...However, you now have up to a year to submit your receipts.... which is a bonus...
It is and it isn't, IMHO. Greater chance to lose/forget to send the receipt in.

Also I noticed that this year they extended the time each submission covers. Last year, IIRC, each purchase period ran Sunday-Saturday. This year the first period started yesterday, and goes to March 1.

It feels like they should say until Thanksgiving... The last few years it has run from about early March until then.

I find myself using Menards often. From their selection of goods to the rebate, why not support an American company that is privately owned.

I have a #10 envelope, already addressed and stamped, stuck to my refrigerator with a strong magnet.

Any Menards receipts go directly into that envelope when I clean out my pockets or wallet. When the envelope starts to get puffy, time to send it in.

They've been my go-to for years. I took a dislike to the Orange home improvement store when I kept running into people who had no clue where things were and had no interest in learning. I remember one instance where I needed some slotted angle-iron and the kid in the orange place said he had no idea where it was or if they even carried any and left it at that. Turns out it was literally one aisle over from where I found him to ask about it. I've found that people at Menards may not know where something is, but they will find someone who can help you.

Since the virus-that-shall-not-be-mentioned, I noticed that Menards has tightened up on some of their rebates. In the past, I've been paid to buy certain things - Menards coffee mugs and lawn fertilizer are two items where the rebate I received was more than what I paid. But they do throw in the occasional free-after-rebate items so I guess I shouldn't be too greedy.

Why they haven’t moved this to online submission is a head scratcher.
Menards hopes that people don't submit rebates, that some rebates get lost in the mail, and that people don't keep records of what they submit so that Menards don't have to issue as many credits.

Moving to online submission would simplify the process, encourage more submissions, and provide a document trail.

for Purolator PL/PLB fans, Menards has the best price (online or in-store), around me at least.

If you feel bored, and the weather is nice---this is the time to buy the $100 of gravel and mulch that your yard needs, lmao.

The 11% does make them the best deal on AC Delco batteries as well, unless Sam's is having the biyearly battery sale.

Might have to see if they have any of those clearance Pyroil deals left! Until March 1st, merchandise credit rebate, of course.
Thanks! I saw it on their website when it launched but a good reminder for me to take advantage of it. All of the floor folks kept telling me "March" but here it is in February. Sales must be slowing down!

That's how I've been buying mine!
