Has anyone tried the Meguiars Ultimate Protectant Spray? I have an old bottle of Gold Class Vinyl/Rubber Protectant and it doesn`t look like they make it anymore. Does the Ultimate have that nice leathery smell?

I tried it and don't like it and in fact still have a nearly full bottle left. It's too thick and goes on greasy and streaky. Difficult to get a nice shine because of that. I use Megiuar's Natural Shine on my dash and outside vinyl and it gives a nice natural shine that goes on easy without using a lot of product.

Haven't tried the one you mentioned. I use the Professional Series Vinyl/Rubber Cleaner/Protectant or whatever it's called. It's not too shiny and not too expensive.

+1 on the Natural Shine. Good stuff. Makes surfaces look richer.

I have had trouble with the spray due to streaks also. The thicker lotion type has been great, however.

Did you wipe off the excess with a second towel? I haven't used this particular one, but that's part of the directions for a lot of protectants. A second wipe usually tones down the shine and removes any extra product that doesn't get absorbed.

It is the closeest thing I ever used that replicates the smell of leather. Not offensive and nice addition to a satin cleaner. I know a lot of local AZs are starting to carry the mirror glaze line (105/205, M26 M7 and M39 and M40.) I'd stick to the 40. 39 is for very very dirty dashes and vinyl

I've been using Meguiar's supreme shine protectant and I really like it. It give my dash a deep shine, but its not greasy. It seems to hold up for several weeks too.

I bought the wipes last week for about $4 and used one wipe on my Jag's tan vinyl dash and love the results. Clean, non-greasy and UV protected.
