What does the API S-rating specify? What exactly is the difference between SM, SL, SJ, SH, etc? I hear a bit about different additive levels but does anyone have any specifics? Are there any other differences?

API Donut & Service grade Info
Just some basic formulation changes in the recent service grades:
SJ to SL - Reduction of ZDDP, 1200 ppm to 1000 ppm. Noack volatility levels from 20% to 15%.
SL to SM - ZDDP again reduced, 1000 ppm to 800 ppm. Higher heat resistance in the GF-4, Energy conserving oils.
