This filter was removed from my DD 2020 Ford Fusion SE with the 1.5T engine at 6,100 miles. This was purchased as a “New” dealer service vehicle so it had 2,700 miles on it when I got it in December of 2020. The dealer did the first OC at that mileage before they put it on the lot. I am changing oil/filter every 3k miles till 10,000-ish then I’ll up the interval to 5,000. I’m very pleased with the amount of pleats and filter media surface area in the FL 910S filter. Very impressive for a filter that can be had for under $4 bucks/ea on RA.
There were some cuts on the ADBV but they weren’t all the way through.
My apologies for the metal particles shown in the pics due to cutting the filter open with a cutoff wheel on my angle grinder....

Does anybody know what the ring of bumps around the bypass are for? These look almost identical to a lot of MOPAR filters except for the can and nitrile ADBVs on the MOPARS.

Just a guess ... they could be there to provide pockets on the other side of the end plate so the potting material has something to "bite" into and make the bond more secure.
