I have a post somewhere on Bob's pertaining to my '04 Altima's Shift Flare issue this past winter. Since I've had the MaxLife ATF in my '04 Altima, the shifts have gotten much better though, IT IS SUMMER!
I was experiencing "SHIFT FLARE" during the winter months prior to adding the ML. Previous ATF was...*Castrol IMV.
*I make no statement to the IMV causing the shift flare as it seems to be an issue on my Gen Altima('02-'06).
Though, the shift flare would disapear while driving(vehicle warmed up), the flare would reapear when the drivetrain was cold.
I still experienced some Flare after the MaxLife ATF addition but, since the weather warmed up and we entered summer, the flare slowly went away...to a complete stop.
I may do another D&F with ML ATF prior to winter and see if the colder temps contribute to the Shift Flare as I have NONE right now!
