MaxLife ATF in the 2007 Accord

So far so good. Did a double D&F after 40k on AMSoil, 47k total. The MaxLife is very smooth. Some shifts seem stiff, but it's settled down after a day. I'll check back in after a few more days, but so far so good.

I plan on continuing w/MaxLife, 1 D&F a year. The only reason I did a double is I was changing brands, both with the AMSoil and with the MaxLife 2 years later. A double D&F really does not make sense from a maintenance standpoint, since you are drainging half fresh fluid. A single service yearly insures the fluid coming out has some miles under it's belt. (is that a good term???)


btw- the deposits on the mag drain plug were VERY minimal. Less than I am used to with the CRV. Maybe 2mm max.

Why not go with redline D4... That is what I am running in my 2007 Accord...

I had 4q of MaxLife I bought for Mom's that went unused. I was happy w/the AMSoil, but it's $9 where the MaxLife is $5.

I did one drain and fill at 51K on my 2006 Honda Ridgeline using Maxlife this past weekend. So far so good, really have not seen a different. Plan on doing once every two years with Maxlife since i only drive about 8k/year.

Is that your first D&F? If so, I'd do a second because of your mileage and to get the spices right. After that, the single D&F seems fine, as often as you wish.
