No, I didn't email Valvoline with the trans flare as it seemed to start with the Castrol IMV...It just has me wondering, that's all! :\
But, with all of the "Shift Flaring" on Nissan websites, kind'a makes me also wonder about this tranny. If I really though that Mobil 1 ATF would help here, I'd invest in a complete DIY flush with M1 for a quick $100 bucks.
I am starting to rethink all of our vehicles right now, as I am readying for retirement and our cars are all getting to that point of needing repairs.
My Nissan is 9 yrs old
Wifes Lexus is 12 yrs old
They're not old(I'm getting older) compared to the vehicles that I have owned in the past(keeping our cars between 16-18 yrs) but, I'm getting tired of trying to fix'em as they're being designed so that it's tougher & tougher to make repairs.
Some repairs that I am doing on our vehicles are taking me twenty-something hours over 4 days to complete.
And the winter salt is a real killer too!
