Making change is easy. Say your bill is 2.68, and you give a tenner.
2 pennies is .70, a nickle is .75, a quarter is 3.00, 2 ones is 5.00, and a 5.00 is ten. Working left to right to add to the cash drawer, and right to left to subtract from.

I agree making change is an acquired skill.

So is walking upright, toliet training and reading.

Some will learn faster than others. It isn't a sign of superior intelligence to learn it faster, nor a sign of imbicility to learn it later. But like most simple life skills, everyone needs to learn it sometime.

Michael, I will have to assume you ascribe to the Far Eastern schoolng methods with your constant use of the word "competitive". With which I highly disagree. It makes little cookie-cutter robots, uncreative and quite boring. And the highest juvenile suicide rates in the world.

And, once more, NO you do not need pre-cal to be competitive or to get into the more "competitive" schools. not everyone needs it. period. Not every school is an engineering school. (praise the Lord!)
