Matching air powered tools to Compressors

There is only so much power in a 120V 15-20A power outlet. That's why it's called a power outlet. And why all the compressors that plug into this pretty much do the same thing.

Conversions from electric to air to motion will be inefficient. Let's call the best 90% and the worst 75%. Still barely worth arguing over.

Get a 240V, 30A powered compressor and start getting real work done.

Here is a poor boy method for joining one under sized compressor with another undersized compressor for more tank volume. $25 on Amazon.

I had a look at some random air tools today and they seemed to spec out 2.7 to 3.0 CFM @90 psi. There a few wheeled compressors on sale that were 8 gallons and supposedly capable of delivering 3.5 to 4.0 CFM at 90 psi.
I have the regulator on my 60 gallon tank set at 140 psi. Maybe that would help somewhat. The only time I run low on air is when using the blasting cabinet.
